This policy explains how Prayxis ("we", "us"), a proprietorship owned by Prakhar Pratap Singh and registered at Gali No 2A, Purang Vihar, Raja ka Bagh, Devi Road, Mainpuri, Uttar Pradesh 205001, India, handles information collected through www.prayxis.com (the "Site").
1. Information we collect
We collect information you give us directly, for example when you email us or submit an enquiry: your name, email address, phone number, company name and the details of your project. We may also collect limited technical data automatically, such as your IP address, browser type, pages visited and referring site, through standard server logs and analytics tools.
2. How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and discuss or deliver services you request.
- To operate, secure and improve the Site.
- To send you information about our services where you have asked for it. You can opt out at any time.
- To comply with legal obligations.
3. Cookies and analytics
The Site does not set cookies of its own and does not use advertising or analytics tools such as the Meta Pixel or Google Analytics. Our hosting provider, Vercel, keeps ordinary server logs (for example IP address, browser type and the page requested) to deliver and secure the Site. If we add analytics or advertising tools in future, we will update this policy first and ask for consent where the law requires it.
4. Mr Manager and WhatsApp data
This section applies to Mr Manager, the property management software that Prayxis builds, and to anyone whose details are handled in it. Mr Manager is used by property operators ("operators"), who run short-term rental properties and may use it to record bookings, guests, cleaning jobs and messages.
Who is responsible. For guest, owner and staff details that an operator enters or receives in Mr Manager, the operator decides why and how they are used, and Prayxis processes them on the operator's behalf. If you are a guest and want to see, correct or delete your details, please ask the operator first. You can also email us and we will pass your request on or act on it.
What we handle through WhatsApp. An operator can connect its own WhatsApp Business number to Mr Manager through the WhatsApp Business Platform provided by Meta. We then receive and store:
- the text of messages the operator sends and receives on that number, and their time, direction and delivery status;
- the phone number of the guest in the conversation, and the guest's WhatsApp profile name where Meta provides it;
- the booking details the operator writes in a confirmation message (for example dates, unit, guest name and amount).
How we use it.
- To create a reservation when an operator's own outgoing message begins with the line "Booking confirmed" followed by labelled booking details. Only messages sent by the operator are read for this purpose. A guest's message never creates a booking.
- To match the guest to an existing guest record by phone number, schedule the cleaning job for the stay, and send the guest a receipt in the same conversation.
- To keep a record of each conversation, including messages that do not become bookings, so the operator can see what was sent and so we can find and fix faults in how messages are read.
We do not use WhatsApp message content for advertising and we do not sell it. We do not currently use it to train any machine-learning model. If that changes, we will update this policy first and tell operators before it happens.
Other details in Mr Manager. Mr Manager also holds the sign-in details of operators and staff (name and Google account email), guest details entered by hand or read from booking calendars, and photographs and checklists that cleaners upload as proof of work. Cleaners use a private link and do not create an account.
Who receives it. We use service providers to run Mr Manager: Meta Platforms (WhatsApp Business Platform, which delivers the messages), Railway (hosting and database), Cloudflare (storage of cleaners' photographs) and Google (sign-in). They process data only to provide those services and may do so outside India. Operators can see their own data and that of their own properties; they cannot see another operator's.
How long we keep it. We keep an operator's data, including stored WhatsApp messages, for as long as the operator's account is open, and delete it after the account is closed. A guest or an operator can ask us to delete specific messages or details sooner by emailing business@prayxis.com. Deleting a guest's details from a booking record may be limited where the operator must keep that record by law, for example for tax or guest-registration rules.
Security. Data is stored in a database that separates each operator's records, and every change to a booking or rate is logged. Access to Mr Manager is by Google sign-in for operators and staff, and by a private time-limited link for cleaners.
5. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with service providers who help us run the Site and our business (for example hosting, email and analytics providers), with professional advisers, or where required by law. These providers may process data outside India.
6. Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. Enquiry data is typically retained for up to 24 months unless we enter into an ongoing engagement with you.
7. Your rights
You may ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, by emailing business@prayxis.com (see also how to ask for deletion). We will respond within a reasonable time and in line with applicable law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
8. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Third-party links
The Site may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.
10. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page with the date above.
